Yakfest 69

niceRaccoon Creek State Park
Lakeside Lodge
March 14-21, 2022

This Yakfest had a wide range in weather as the temperature range was 30° to 75°. We welcomed Buck's buddy George and he fit right in. Here's hoping George makes it to future Yakfests.

Thanks to Buck for booking a tour at Liberty Pole Distillery in Washington, PA. We were given a tour of the facility, told of the local, history, and sample several of their products.

We again had an embarrassment of riches for meals. Ma Conn once again provided us with dozens of delicious cookies. Guys pasta night was again fantastic and the featured pasta was ravioli. He also made a Monk's broccoli-and-pasta salad , a couple of regular salads, French toast, and chicken soup. We had St. Patrick's Day corned beef sandwiches at Coke's Pub. Mark made a delicious chili and homemade cornbread. The Old Man and Dave made shrimp scampi on Friday night. Thanks to the Kraken, brats were as tasty as always. As always, Dave brought smokies from K&K Portage Market. and made grilled steak and chicken paired with Guy's roasted vegetables. Thanks to Buck for being a great and generous bartender and traveling liquor store.

Attendance Roll
Buck, George, Guy, Sean, the Old. An, Dave, and Paul Conn as the Kraken.
