Yakfest 51 was at Pymatuning State Park in Jamestown, PA. A wild temperature Range: high temp 69°F, Low temp 23°F.
The Kraken missed the event as his mom was recovering from knee surgery. We wish her well and hope Paul can make it in March. The special surprise guest was New Jersey hurricane refugee Mark G., who fled his home without electricity to the relative safety of Yakfest. A wise move given his euchre playing against the luckless Buck. Actually since we watched Guy's video "Alone in the Wilderness" so many times that we should add the ghost of Dick Proenneke as a guest.
Chow... The Old Man made a delicious split pea soup. Guy's pasta sauce was again superior. NJ Mark made a delicious Buffalo mac & cheese and helped Dave made roasted red peppers.
