Stately Yakfest Manor once again was the choice for Yakfest - Yakfest 49. We had great weather with unseasonably moderate temperatures. Range: high temp 68°F, Low temp 28°F. No TV or movies. Just conversation, reading, games, music, and eating. "Who was Mickey's dog?"

The unheralded team of Bello-Macala were the bocce champs. Sadly the disgraced official Old Man had to be moved off the officiating team due to gross incompetence. Sean: "A hand shake works." Ask him if you want to know what that means. Wiffle ball, wood-gathering, and fire-making were possible thanks to the good weather.

Chow... Another embarrassment of riches: Mark's Cream of celery soup, Guy's Bacalao stew, Steve's Ribs, Ma Conn cookies, Guy's Sauce with bucatini, Capacola from Jimmy's, and the Old Man's Vanilla and bourbon ice cream.
